“Bottling lightning & engineering thunderstorms”

Aneek Thapar is a British Indian music producer, engineer and sound designer from London. He is a co-founder of the award-winning boutique sample instrument company, VOID & VISTA and a member of the Music Producers Guild.

For over a decade, Aneek has been crafting a unique presence in various music scenes, working with pioneering artists such as Rival Consoles (Erased Tapes), Max Cooper (Mesh), Coldcut (Ninja Tune) as well as emerging talents like SINK, Evan Gildersleeve, and pop-belters like Jamie Grey and Sean Bradford (who’s album NMDS LND - mixed by Aneek, became a Swedish No.1 in 2018).

In 2023 Aneek co-founded the award-winning boutique virtual instrument company - VOID & VISTA which have been used by some of the biggest and influential names in Hollywood and electronic and folk music, including Benjamin Walfisch (Blade Runner 2049), Charlie Clouser (NIN, SAW), Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible), Son Lux (Everything Everywhere All At Once), Michael Stein (Stranger Things) and many more.

Aneek has worked with many award-winning composers, including Nainita Desai, Marc Canham and Tom Hodge on composing and mixing edgy and beautiful scores for No.1 shows on Netflix, Disney+, Britbox and SkyTV etc

His stunning contemporary music has been used on TV shows across the globe.

As a member of the Music Producers Guild, Aneek was longlisted for Mastering Engineer of the Year in 2023 and was invited to give the members address speech at the 2024 Music Producers Guild Awards along side FKA Twigs, Alan Molder and Jacob Collier.

Aneek has travelled across Europe with Codes In The Clouds as sound engineer for their headline tour. Played shows with Rival Consoles, Lapalux and Tom Rogerson (Three Trapped Tigers).
